Mental Map

This is an example of a mental map. This map agrees with the definition of a mental map given in the powerpoints, being that it is a highly abstracted representation of real world locations. This map is how a child chose to represent his neighborhood solely from memory. The physical features (roads, houses, trees) of the mental map are not represented proportionally, but you can still understand what they are trying to represent.
